Timing of late- to post Variscan magmatic rocks of the Erzgebirge
Using high-precision zircon U–Pb CA-ID-TIMS geochronology, we determined the ages of late- to post-Variscan granites across the Erzgebirge and the Lausitz and reconstructed the timing of magmatic activity.

Within a variety of different Late Carboniferous to early Permian Basins we applied high-precision zircon U–Pb CA-ID-TIMS geochronology to establish accurate temporal frameworks for these basin systems and to improve the regional correlation.
