Research interests

I'm a Geologist whose research interests span a broad range of geological topics and mainly include sedimentary provenance analysis, tectonics and sedimentation, basin analysis, regional geology, and palaeogeography.

  • Palaeogeographic and geodynamic evolution of North Gondwana and its periphery throughout the Phanerozoic
  • Palaeogeographic and geodynamic evolution of Baltoscandia with a focus on the late Neoproterozoic and Palaeozoic
  • Environmental changes at the dawn of animal life
  • Testing the reliability and improving methods and tools in sedimentary provenance analysis
  • Research towards the exploration of natural resources
