Get-together to mark the inauguration of our new rector

Invitation to a get-together with the new Rector Prof Jutta Emes

The TU Bergakademie Freiberg cordially invites all members of the university to a reception to welcome Prof Jutta Emes in a relaxed atmosphere.

The reception will take place on
22 July 2025 at 3.00 p.m.
in the courtyard of Akademiestr. 6.

In case of bad weather, the event will be moved to the interior of Akademiestr. 6.

The new Rector is looking forward to getting to know the members of the University and gaining her first personal impressions. The reception offers the opportunity to exchange ideas and start a new term of office together.

The formal investiture with an official inaugural speech will follow in autumn. A separate date will be announced in good time.

Note: Registration for the reception is mandatory in order to ensure planning - in particular the provision of drinks.
