18th Saxon Raw Materials Day 2026
Rethinking the security of raw materials – from geopolitical partnerships to industrial transformation
Global shifts in power, our struggle for raw materials sovereignty and technological upheavals are changing the conditions for a resilient supply of raw materials and competitive value creation. The Saxon Raw Materials Day 2026 brings together perspectives on this topic from the worlds of business, politics, science and public administration: From the Federal Government’s raw materials policy and research cooperation within the framework of German raw materials partnerships, through domestic lithium and helium, to white hydrogen, synthetic fuels and resource-efficient AI hardware. The focus is on the question of how Germany and Europe can shape the security of raw material supplies in future in a spirit of partnership, with a focus on innovation and strategy – and what role social communication, public acceptance and political conflicts of interpretation play in this.
Join us as we examine key issues in the raw materials sector for Germany and Saxony in particular!
