This conference offers an excellent opportunity to come together and delve into the fascinating world of hydrogeology and beyond. 'Let's talk about water' aims to be a platform where ideas flow freely, connections are forged, and knowledge is shared.

Conference Highlights:

Presentations: We invite you to showcase your research topic through either oral or poster presentation to share your findings, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations within the community.
Keynote Talks: Gain insights in different fields from experts through two keynote talks, offering valuable perspectives and sparking thought-provoking discussions.
Evening lecture: The 2024 Birdsall-Dreiss Distinguished Lecturer Prof. Dr. Ben Rostron gives a talk on 'Geology and hydrogeology at Aquistore: Canada's first CO₂ storage project associated with a commercial-scale coal-fired power plant.'
Workshop: Engage in a workshop for enhancing your skills and dealing with challenges during your PhD.
Excursions: At the former silver mine 'Reiche Zeche' you'll have the unique opportunity to explore underground labs. A trip to the 'Revierwasserlaufanstalt Freiberg' brings you back into historical times when mines were powered solely by water.
