Enrollment into the degree program takes place once the admission requirements have been met, for example, by providing sufficient proof of German language proficiency (DSH exam—level DSH 2 or 3—or an equivalent language certificate) or by successfully passing the assessment exam (FSP).
To complete the enrollment process, please follow these steps:
1. Request the removal of the enrollment lock – Submit documents
To have the enrollment lock removed, log in to the university portal and submit a request to have the lock removed:
My Studies → Student Services → Enrollment Locks → Submit Documents → To Remove the Enrollment Lock
Upload the relevant proof along with your request, for example:
the certificate of passing the DSH exam,
the certificate of the assessment exam (FSP)
2. Health Insurance
If you are under 30 years old, please request the electronic proof of your insurance status from a statutory health insurance provider in Germany.
This proof will be sent directly from the insurance provider to the university and is mandatory for enrollment.
You can find further important information about health insurance on our website: Health Insurance | TU Bergakademie Freiberg
3. Semester Fee
To enroll, you must pay the semester fee (currently 107.00 EUR) and, if applicable, the second-degree fee (currently 300.00 EUR).
You can find payment information on our website: Semester Fees and Re-registration | TU Bergakademie Freiberg
