Theses
We permanently offer topics for theses (Bachelor's/Master's/Diploma) for students of various science and engineering degree programmes. PhDs and habilitations are also possible at the FHP - if a suitable project is available.
- Study/Bachelor thesis "Thermophysical characterisation of newly developed high-performance materials"
- Bachelor's/Master's/Diploma thesis "Polymerisation in inorganic, oxidic glasses and melts as a function of pressure"
- Bachelor's/Master's/Diploma/Thesis "Unter Hochdruck: Strukturuntersuchungen an eisenhaltigen Gläsern"
- Master's/Diploma thesis "Diamond synthesis using a high-pressure press"
Bachelor's/Master's/Diploma thesis "High-pressure synthesis and high-pressure sintering of new hard materials"
Student Assistant
Would you like to get a taste of current high-pressure research? Are you looking for new interdisciplinary challenges, do you enjoy working in a team and would you like to become scientifically active? As a research assistant, you can put your manual skills to the test by working with various materials in drilling, milling, pressing, laser cutting, melting or forging. Do your strengths lie more in measurement or electrical engineering and/or Matlab programming? Then a job as a student assistant with us could be just the thing for you.
We are also currently looking for a student assistant with programming skills for the further development and maintenance of electronic lab notebook software.
Teaching
- Lecture and internship "
- Lecture "Germ Formation and Crystal Growth", 2nd MGEO-MIN (Inst. f. Mineralogy)
Are you interested in the work of the FHP? Are you curious and just want to get a taste of what we do? Then simply get in touch with Marcus [dot] Schwarz [at] chemie [dot] tu-freiberg [dot] de (Dr Marcus Schwarz) or kevin [dot] keller [at] mineral [dot] tu-freiberg [dot] de (Dr Kevin Keller)!
