The bachelor thesis of Ms Klara Schwibs was awarded 1st prize in the bachelor thesis category by the German Engineering Federation, Software and Digitalisation Association. The thesis was written in cooperation with Hoppecke Rail Systems GmbH (formerly Intilion GmbH) and was supervised by J.-Prof. Christian Kupsch, Junior Professor for Measurement, Sensor and Embedded Systems (MSE Lab) at TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
In her bachelor's thesis, Ms Schwibs designed, developed and successfully applied a modular multi-sensor system for monitoring environmental conditions and detecting limit violations during the storage and testing of lithium-ion systems. She has thus made a significant contribution towards a sustainable energy supply.
