The Director of the Interdisciplinary Environmental Research Centre is elected by the Council from the group of university lecturers assigned to the Centre. In accordance with the statutes, the Director represents the Centre within the University and manages its business.
The Managing Director supports the Director in all official matters. He is particularly responsible for contacts with industrial companies, engineering offices and authorities as well as other partners. 
The transformation team will develop a revised organisation and guiding principle in 2024.
