Description of the main areas of work:

  • Li batteries, especially LiFePo:
    • Development of suitable pre-treatment methods for safe handling
    • Training for handling defective batteries and procedures in the event of fire
    • Recovery and recycling of LiFePo for further utilisation
    • Processing of metal foils with recovery of the coating and upcycling of the metal foils
  • Fine grinding and use in additive manufacturing (ductile metals such as copper or renewable raw materials such as wood and straw) from various waste sources
