Vernissage - Exhibition about the barrier-free theatre play - Leonardo da Vinci
The exhibition shows the development of the theatre project through the various work phases up to the performance in the opera house. On display is a documentation of pictures and drawings, objects and props from the theatre production.
In February 2024, the accessible theatre play "Leonardo da Vinci" came to a successful conclusion with two performances at Chemnitz Opera House. A film was also made, which will be shown to the public in abridged form at a later date as part of exhibitions and lectures.
The play brought together people from a wide range of social, religious and cultural backgrounds, with and without health restrictions, from war and crisis zones as well as professional artists.
The Venetian architect and artist, Pier Giorgio Furlan, brought the Italian-style play to life with his special mask play. He approached people with his ideas and convinced them. Over time, many people, with their diverse skills and characters, found their way to "Leonardo da Vinci".
The exhibition can be visited free of charge from 18 November to 28 February 2025. The vernissage will take place on Monday, 18 November at 5:00 p.m. in the atrium of Prüferstr. 2.
