Live Better" nutrition programme

At the start of the year, the "Lebe Besser" nutrition programme is aimed at all employees of TU Bergakademie Freiberg who want to reduce their weight in a sustainable and healthy way, lead a healthier lifestyle in the long term and/or improve their eating habits. The implementation is supported by the university's occupational health management (BGM) and the health insurance company Techniker Krankenkasse and is carried out together with our DGE-certified nutrition coach Michael Prinz and, if required, the MUMM Sport and Health Centre Freiberg. All participants are thus supported in the complex process of changing their dietary behaviour through a specially adapted nutrition programme consisting of 5 theory lessons and one practical lesson.

In addition to the health benefits, all participants also enjoy an exclusive cost advantage thanks to the cooperation with our health partner, Techniker Krankenkasse.

Registration for the nutrition programme is binding. It is up to you to decide whether you would like to take advantage of the MUMM Sport and Health Centre's additional services. For a holistic approach and sustainable weight loss success, however, exercise promotion is necessary, but can also be covered by individual programmes if required. We would therefore like to refer you to the offer of the University Sports Centre. Participation capacity for this project is limited. If registrations exceed the number of participants, the final participants will be selected based on health-related factors.

Details on the individual programme items can be found on our website.
