Ice rink in the castle
The ice rink season in Freiberg begins on the Day of Prayer and Repentance (November 22, 2023).
A large ice rink once again invites young and old as well as professionals and beginners to skate in the courtyard of Freudenstein Castle this winter season.
A magical winter world with rustic mulled wine huts, heated winter bar and skate rental in the castle courtyard is being created around the 525 m² ice rink. Winter sports fans and all those who have always wanted to try can skate comfortably, do pirouettes, practice jumps or try their hand at figure skating.
Skates are ready - skates and helmets can be conveniently rented and dressing rooms are also available.
