Global climate strike

On September 15, starting at 4 p.m., we will once again set a green example for climate and environmental protection on Freiberg's Obermarkt.🌿

The urgency is great and grows with each passing day. Every day there are reports of new storms, disasters and hardships, the extinction of species is progressing and more and more people have to flee their homes because of the effects of climate change.

At the same time, far too little is happening in current politics in Germany. In some cases, we are even taking steps backwards. But something can be done not only at the federal level, but also at the regional level. 🙏

That is why we are calling for more focus on the biggest problem of our time - climate change - on 15 September. Also in Freiberg.

The event will start at 4 p.m. and in addition to informative speeches, including one by Prof. Dr. Matschullat of the TU Bergakademie, there will also be an entertainment programme with poetry slams and music.

There will also be an "open microphone" at the end.🎶🎤🌱
