Cross-country skiing - Trip to Norway | Ringebu
A fantastic winter sports trip to the home of cross-country skiing! This winter sports offer is aimed specifically at cross-country skiers and students and employees of TU Freiberg who are interested in cross-country skiing.
This exclusive winter sports and travel offer is made possible by a cooperation between several Central German universities and the LHS Saxony and offers a maximum of 6 participants the chance to take part. As a small group, we will travel together in a minibus via ferry (Rostock-Trelleborg) to the well-known central Norwegian ski resort of Ringebu, south of the Rondane National Park and north of Lillehammer. There we use a fully equipped self-catering house with mainly twin rooms and a sauna house in Jonnhalt. From here we will organise daily cross-country skiing tours, practice sessions and also cultural and regional excursions, e.g. to Lillehammer. The tour will be led by those responsible at the University Sports Centre and TUBAF Health Management. The basic requirements for participation are medium to good cross-country skiing experience and a certain level of basic stamina. Ski equipment must be organised independently.
