The Graduate and Research Academy (GraFA) is the central institution for young scientists at TU Bergakademie Freiberg. The focal points of its work range from the administrative handling of matters relating to doctorates and postdoctoral theses to the promotion of those active in science.
Promotion process
The GraFa accompanies you with information and advice through your doctorate, from the decision to pursue a doctorate to the defense. You will find an extensive continuing education program geared toward activities in research and teaching, as well as special programs and events to support young researchers.

Accessibility of the PhD Office
The PhD Office can be reached daily in person from 09:30 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 16:00 at Prüferstr. 2. 09599 Freiberg.

The preparation of "letters of intent" for the implementation of a doctorate is still possible - the form can be filled out on site at the doctoral office. To do so, please make an appointment with Ms. Katrin Langer.
