Science gives rise to ideas, insights and technologies with great potential. The Centre for Transfer and Start-ups helps to highlight this potential and set it on the path to practical application.

Through this Centre, TU Bergakademie Freiberg is, for the first time, bringing together its expertise from the Transfer, Start-up and Intellectual Property departments. The Centre is part of the 4transfer (Transfer) and SAXEED (Start-up) networks.

This creates a one-stop shop for researchers: from the initial idea, through questions regarding commercialisation and intellectual property rights, to collaboration with companies, the further development of a technology or setting up their own start-up. Companies and other partners find direct access to the university’s scientific expertise, technologies and opportunities for collaboration at the Centre for Technology Transfer and Start-ups.
