Water is one of the most important resources for life and natural conditions on earth. At TU Bergakademie Freiberg, experts from various research fields are working on different water-related issues. Accordingly, many diverse research activities and teaching offers can be found within the university.

The “Freiberg Center for Water Research - ZeWaF” interconnects all associated competencies within the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. ZeWaF offers to act as an interface hub between academia and industry to address many of important water-related issues such as water and environment, water and resource technologies, water and energy, water sustainability, questions of safety and many more.
