MSE Lab – Acoustic Measurement and Sensor Systems
At the MSE Lab (Professorship for Measurement, Sensor and Embedded Systems), we develop novel measurement systems that capture physical quantities with high precision and thus enable advances in science, industry and medicine.
Research focus areas:
- Ultrasound Microscopy & Modelling - high-resolution imaging for the semiconductor industry and medicine
- Human-Machine Interfaces & Medical Ultrasound – wearables and precise diagnostics
- Smart Sensor Systems – energy-efficient, networked measurement systems with intelligent signal processing
With our interdisciplinary expertise, we merge fundamental research and application – for the measurement systems of tomorrow.
The MSE Lab is part of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg’s Profilierungsinitiative 2025 „Engineering of Cyber Physical Systems“.
