At the beginning of the year, the geteduroam app for setting up eduroam access was updated to version 2.0.0. The developers had introduced a bug in the iOS app that damaged existing profiles on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad). This error has been corrected with the update to version 2.0.2.
If you have installed version 2.0.0 on your device (auto-update or manually), you must recreate the eduroam configuration.
- Install version 2.0.2 from the app store.
- Create a new eduroam profile using the instructions Eduroam for Windows / Android / iOS.
Note: You must first create a new app password in the service portal.
If this does not work, please download the configuration file manually. When configuring, please make sure to add the realm @tu-freiberg.de (e.g. ab12cdef [at] tu-freiberg [dot] de) to the user name. Enter the app password as the password.
