Professor Leischnig holds the Chair of Business-to-Business Marketing at the Faculty of Business Administration at TU Freiberg since 2020. Previously, he had an academic appointment at the School of Business and Management at Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom.
Professor Leischnig's research interests are in the areas of customer management, sales management, and alliance management. In addition, his research focuses on business digitalization. His research has been published in internationally leading outlets including AMS Review, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and Journal of Service Research among others.
Professor Leischnig is a reviewer for various academic outlets and funding bodies. He has served as Guest Editor and Associate Editor for different journals. He is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) und guest speaker at universities in Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
