Traditionally, the 8th Freiberg Doctoral Conference takes place on the last day of the BHT. With presentations and posters, the interdisciplinary conference provides an insight into the fascinating and diverse research of doctoral students at our university.

This year, we want to focus on uncovering the ideas that have shaped your research and preparing them for future applications. Our multidisciplinary keynote speakers will show you how to overcome obstacles to patenting your ideas and concepts and establish your innovations in industry.

Do you think it's a shame that more people don't know what your research is about and want to practise your presentation skills? Do you want to find out more about other people's research? Then take part in the 8th Freiberg Doctoral Conference 2024! You can present your own research in a talk or as a poster or simply listen to others and ask questions.
