In 2023, the Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism provided additional special funding for the acquisition consortium of Saxon university libraries.
Together with all the institutions in the consortium, an overall package was agreed from which all areas of the Saxon universities benefit.
Extensive e-book packages from various publishers and different subject areas were acquired or licensed for a limited period of time.
Thus, in addition to our existing offers, packages from the following publishers are permanently available campus-wide and can be accessed via our catalogue:

In addition, you will receive 12 months access to all e-books from various publishers. After the licence expires, the library decides which titles it will keep permanently. This time-limited access to e-books with a subsequent purchase option at the end of the period was financed for the following packages:
