Abstract submission

Guidelines

Abstracts

The official conference language is English. Abstracts should be formatted using Microsoft Word according to the specific template, which will be published here in due course.

Each participant may upload up to 3 abstracts through a webform, which will be provided here as soon as submission opens (01 December 2019). For each of your submitted abstracts, please indicate your preferred choice of communication (either oral presentation or poster). Please note, however, that the final decision on this matter will be made by the Scientific Committee.

  • Deadline for submission: 15 January 2020

Authors will be notified whether their abstracts have been accepted by 15 February 2020. The detailed conference program (including session numbers, dates, and presentation schedules) will be announced at a later stage.

Participants with accepted abstracts must register and pay their registration fees until 15 April 2020. If payment is not received by this deadline, or is received after the deadline, the abstract(s) will be automatically withdrawn, and will not appear in the conference programme.

Presentations

Presentations must be provided either as a Microsoft PowerPoint (*.ppt, *.pptx) or PDF file. Please deliver your presentation file (or folder, also including the videos) to the registration desk on the day before your talk.

Each presenter will be given 15 minutes for their talks plus an additional 5 minutes for discussion. Please follow this time limit strictly if you do not want to be interrupted by the session’s convenor.

Posters

Posters should be arranged in portrait format no larger than A0 (841 x 1189 mm), and displayed for the duration of the conference.

There will be a poster session on each of the 2 conference days. Presenters are encouraged to be present in the vicinity during coffee breaks.
