Summer schools in Trento

Sustainable Design and Management of Environmental Resources and Psychological Humanities and Cognitive Science – PsyHuman Summer School

Dear students,

This year, UniTrento is planning to organize two face-to-face International Summer Schools designed for your upper-level Undergraduate and Graduate students. One is Sustainable Design and Management of Environmental Resources - TRES Summer School and the other one is Summer School in Psychological Humanities and Cognitive Science. Both will run from 12 to 23 July 2021 (of course, the dates are awkward for us, because our examination period runs from 19 July to 20 August (whereby the first week of exams is always blocked for re-tries, so it may just work out fine this year). For rurther particulars about the format, content and admission requirements, follow the link above.

This offer of summer school will depend on the future evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic throughout Italy in the Spring. Proposed safety measures are currently being considered by the competent national and local authorities and we will be able to confirm both Summer Schools by the first week of May. Please note that if cancelled an on-line version will not be offered.

Meanwhile, I was asked to nominate students by 15th April (deadline!). Do so via Email to Johannes [dot] stephanatvwl [dot] tu-freiberg [dot] de (me). After being nominated, students are asked to complete the on-line application by 30th April to facilitate organization of all logistical aspects.

After guiding nominated candidates through the on-line application, UniTrento will carry out a final screening of applicants and send an acceptance e-mail to admitted students.

The reduced participation cost reserved for nominated students coming from partner universities is 450 euros and includes accommodation, meals, bus pass and social activities. Otherwise, the full costs would amount to 1,000 euros.

The Summer Schools are taught completely in English. Therefore, a minimum English level of B2 is required.

At the end of each School, participants will receive an Attendance Certificate and an official UniTrento Transcript of Records certifying the number of ECTS credits awarded (more details can be found on each School’s webpage). ECTS points can be granted towards your IBRE credit account.

Best wishes
Johannes Stephan
