Picture of the new building of TU Bergakademie Freiberg

New building of TU Bergakademie Freiberg will be the new home of the Faculty of Business Administration.

Which IMRE generation will be the first one to attend classes in the new building is still unclear but the administrative preparation work for its construction is finished. The Government of Saxony has awarded the budget and it is expected that all final decisions will be taken by October 2009. After that, archeologists will investigate the site for four months before actual construction work is started up. In the original planning, this may take up to eighteen months. Hence, will IMRE 2012 be the first intake in the new building? We will have to wait and see. By the way, the new home of the Faculty of Business Administration and the International University Centre is located in downtown, between the renovated Freiberg Castle "Freudenstein" and the main University Building in Akademiestrasse 6.
