Short CV

From 2003 to 2010 I studied "geoscience informatics" with diploma certificate (ger.: "Diplom-Geoinformatik") at the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg. During my studies I specialised in the fields geomodelling, geodata management, 3D-visualisation, virtual reality and numeric simulation. In my diploma-thesis (2010) I developed methodes for immersive visualisation, interaction and analysis for geoscientific 3D modells.

After graduation I started my PhD-thesis "Neue numerische Methoden zur Bearbeitung und 3D-Interpretation von Geodaten und -modellen in interdisziplinärer Forschung" in Decenber 2010 at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (Kiel University). Further more, I worked there in 2 projects "AIDA - From Airborn Data Inversion to In-Depth Analysis" (fonded by BMBF) and "TiPOT3D - Towards an integrative interpretation of potential fields and corresponding gradients by the aid of three-dimensional modelling and visualization" (fonded by DGMK). I stayed in Kiel till June of 2016.

3D geometry of chromite seams in a chromium mine in South Africa.From July 2016 to October 2018 I worked as a PostDoc at Helmholtz-Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology in the workgroup "Modelling and Valuation" in the BMBF project " Applied Mineralogy for Resource Efficiency of Platinum Metals (AMREP)".

In November 2018, I startet a position as associate researcher at Geomethematics and Geoinfromatics work group at TU Freiberg.
