1st EURECA-PRO Summer School
The 1st EURECA-PRO summer school will take place from September 5th to 11th 2021 at TU Bergakademie Freiberg: Starting from their own experience of life – students at all degrees should consider the assessment of the sustainability of different ways of behaving: to study online or in on-site physical presence.
The summer school is divided into three parts to be completed in two months: 1) a month before the on-site start of the summer school, participants should complete a self-study on “Responsible Consumption and Production” using recommended literature and prepare a short presentation about the relation of their European place of study to SDG12; 2) a short Polish or Spanish course; 3) A week of learning and working together will take place at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany, from September 5th to September 11th 2021. Due to the corona pandemic, this assignment can be completed online. Presentations by scientists and experts offer an introduction to the topics of sustainability of digitalisation and assessment. A supporting programme will enable exchange on European culture among the participants.
The summer school is concluded by the preparation of a group report. Participants work in international and interdisciplinary teams on scenarios about the sustainability of different forms to study online or in on-site physical presence.
