Authentication via Shibboleth

Some database providers allow authentication via Shibboleth.

You can recognize the database that enable Shibboleth in DBIS by the note: „additional licensed accesses“ – the link „Access via Shibboleth-authentification“ given here leads you to the login page oft he database. Please proceed as described on the additional help text displayed in DBIS:

Explanation oft he access via Shibboleth:

Select „Germany“ as country and „TU Bergakademie Freiberg“ as institution. Then log in with your URZ login.

With few providers of electronic full texts (e-journals), there are problems with registration, as the authentication is not automatically forwarded. You may have to authenticate yourself again with the respektive providers using Shibboleth.

These problems do not occur when using the VPN client (URZ help page).
