Mit dem Studium Zukunft Pflanzen
TU Bergakademie Freiberg is committed to protecting tree species and is reforesting the degraded forests in Saxony and the Global South. A tree is planted for all new students and all new employees.
Every enrolment counts
Lamenting the desolate situation of living spaces is not enough. By signing up, everyone has the opportunity to take action! Every registration plants trees, protects biotopes and binds CO2. We have already reserved 3.6 hectares of land for 10,000 trees - register now and become part of the campaign!

Getting started with TUBAFcards & -bikes
Explore Freiberg with your TUBAF-card
Welcome to Freiberg, the city of the university and student life! We are pleased to welcome you as a new member of TUBAF. To help you get started in university life, there is the TUBAFcard. The card was specially developed for first-year students and is the ideal companion for leisure activities. The TUBAFcard gives you access to many discounts and specials in shops, restaurants and leisure facilities in the university city and university sports.
TUBAFbikes: Getting around campus
At the start of your studies, there is a special notice: 24 new students have the opportunity to use a trekking bike free of charge for the duration of their studies. The short distances in the university town, to the lecture, to the refectory or to the university sports course can thus be covered quickly and in a climate-friendly way.
