Summer School at South Ural University
Along with intensive Russian-language lessons, they had the chance to explore the area, even visiting the city of Jekaterinburg, which lies about 200 km north of Chelyabinsk. They returned to Freiberg today after a stopover in Moscow. “It was a great opportunity for us to communicate with European students,” said Russian teacher Yuliya Kazakova. Previously, 20 Russian students had been to Freiberg. Organized as a joint effort by the Student Union and the International Center at TU Freiberg, the exchange has been running for twelve years now.
