International Workshop about "Learning and Handling of Stress"

At 4 May, 14 students originated from Germany, Bulgaria, Syria, Libya, China, Iraq and Egypt met in the "New Canteen" (Neue Mensa). With focus on „Study Motivation", they had a closer look to their everyday stress and tried new strategies for more efficient learning and better relaxing.

In the first part of the day, they all discussed the topic "Learning". The participants had the opportunity to put questions and exchange their experiences. In a small exercise, they got conscience of their individual learning character. In a following speedating, they discussed the different aspects of German learning culture. The main topic of the second part was stress and time management. The participants were invited to question their personal attitude towards the topic "stress" and to establish an optimal week plan in seven steps.

The International Office of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg organized the workshop together with the Studentenwerk Freiberg and the "Freunde und Förderer der TU Bergakademie Freiberg e.V.". It was connected to the topic of the Intercultural Weekend in September 2018 in Frauenstein.
