At the orientation days, you can learn about...

  • what are the formalities after the arrival in Freiberg. We give tips how to deal with  the necessary formalities best,
  • how the semester at TU Bergakademie Freiberg (TUBAF) is structured – important dates of the academic year,
  • services and contact persons for international students at TUBAF,
  • specifics of the German culture: how to communicate and work with Germans at the university,
  • introduction to your study programme.

Participation (especially in on-site events) requires registration. Please use the online registration form.

Important note concerning on-site events

Befor entering a seminar room or lecture hall you must log in using the pass4all app. Scan the QR code posted at the entrance. The Bluetooth function on your smartphone must be turned on. Alternatively, you can fill in a paper form for contact tracking. Compliance with the existing 3-G rule is checked on a random basis.
