German courses

The International University Centre (IUZ) offers German language courses for different target groups at different levels.

Classroom teaching  in German language classes will be postponed until May 4 2002 at the earliest.

Starting from April 20, material for these courses will be provided online on our learning platform OPAL. Registration is open from April 8 to April 15. Please also see the information on the following pages.

Preparation for Studies

The pre-study courses are intensive courses which greatly improve your German language skills during one semester. You can take part in courses from advanced beginner (level A2/B1) to advanced level (B2/C1). At the end of the B2/C1 course you are ready to take part in the "DSH" ("Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang").

Curricular courses

You are an exchange student or a student in one of the Master-degree programmes in English? You do an internship or a doctorate at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg? With our study-integrated courses you can improve your German skills by attending a few lectures each week.

Spring and Autumn Courses "German Language and Culture"

ACATRAIN, association for further education at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, offer intensive German language courses before the beginning of the summer semester and winter semester – Spring Courses in March and Autumn Courses in September.

(Future) students, PhD-students or other members of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg are welcome to join these German courses at different levels. Guests are welcome to join these courses as well. The courses are subject to a charge.
