Sponsorship Options

You can finance your stay in Freiberg either by self-support (especially short stays in Freiberg), by financial support from your home country/home university or you can ask your research partner/supervisor about a possible exchange programme in which case partial financing would be possible.

Scholarships for all subjects at German universities; the yearly scholarships can be prolonged for students up to a first degree and for graduates up to a PhD

Fritz Thyssen Foundation  funding for new generation scientists at universities and research institutes straight after PhD

Katholischer Akademischer Austauschdienst  (Catholic Academic Exchange Service)
Annual scholarships for new generation scientists (graduates and post-docs) from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe. The scholarships can be prolonged.
