Declaration of Intent to undertake a doctorate at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg
Admission to a doctorate is decided by the responsible Faculty Board, based on the applicants Declaration of Intent to begin a doctorate. The Declaration of intent should be submitted, via the supervisor, to the relevant Faculty. Information about documents which have to be submitted apart from the Declaration of Intent itself, you may find in the Regulations of the Faculties for the Award of Doctorates (§7, paragraph 2). - Extension of the Declaration of Intent (only for the Faculty of Chemistry and Physics)
- Extension of the Declaration of Intent (only for the Faculty of Geosciences, Geoengineering and Mining)
- Certificate for graded performances (Please save the file before filling it out.)
- Application for the substitution of the doctoral oral examination (Rigorosum) by equivalent academic achievements
- Immatrikulationsantrag/Application form for Admission to Studies for Foreign Applicants: The process has changed. For admission to doctoral studies please apply via the Application Portal of our university. All necessary information you find here.
- Specimen letter for the written application to the Dean of the Faculty for the opening of the doctorate procedure
