Institut für Angewandte Physik
The Institute of Applied Physics (IAP) of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg deals with deposition processes and characterisation of thin film dielectrics as well as embedded nanocrystalline semiconductors in dielectric layers.
On such layers we focus the defect characterisation and passivation properties in combination with electronic, optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices. The Institute of Applied Physics has full access to a well equipped clean room laboratory for deposition and characterisation of semiconductors, an electrical and optical laboratory.
