New DFG grant project approved at the IWTG

At the end of September 2017, the German Research Foundation granted to Prof. Dr. Helmuth Albrecht (IWTG) and the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, a third-party project on the topic of "digitization and electronic edition of the correspondence of Abraham Gottlob Werners" with a term of 36 months.

The project is financed by a postdoctoral supervisor and additional auxiliary funds. The project is carried out in collaboration with the Institute of Mine Ralogy (Prof. Dr. Heide), the University Library of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg (Mrs. Kandler) and the Trier Center for Digital Humanities.

Prof. Dr. Albrecht in three new scientific advisory councils

On June 28, 2017, Prof. Dr. Helmuth Albrecht was designed from the German Hygiene Museum Dresden as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the preparation and realization of the 4th Saxon State Exhibition on Industrial Culture in 2020.

On 2nd. August 2017 Prof. Dr. Helmuth Albrecht was designed as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the XVII Congress, which will be held in Santiago de Chile from 13 to 15 September 2018. International Congress of the Committee for the Conservation of Industrial Heritage (TICCIH).

On 5th. October, 2017 Prof. Dr. Helmuth Albrecht was assigned, from the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference of Mining and Underground Museums Wieliczka - Bochnia 2018, as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the ICMUM 2018 Conference.
