On this page, you will find information and other interesting facts about the institute, its 250 years of history, as well as its employees and projects.

Besides our own degree program “Markscheidewesen und Angewandte Geodäsie” (Mine surveying and applied Geodesy) we are also offering a range of courses for all degree programs related to geological engineering. This applies specifically to degree programs related to geoinformatics. The content of these courses is practically orientated and taught with the help of state-of-the-art equipment.

With our annual conference “Geokinematischer Tag – Geomatics for Sustainable Resource Management”, we are inviting experts from research and industry to present and discuss the latest trends and developments in mine surveying and its related fields.

Furthermore, we are offering research services, engineering consulting as well as specific surveying services.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please reach out to us.
