A book scanner is located right to the group room on the first floor. The scans can be saved free of charge on a USB stick or a SD card. Scanning is possible in color or black and white in various file formats. Instructions for operation can be found on the information sheet on the scanner.

Bookeye 4 scanner

Upstairs (opposite the Information desk) is the scanner workstation. Templates up to DIN A3 can be scanned on the device and stored on a USB stick or sent via e-mail via the app.

DIN-A4 flatbed scanner

Upstairs is a scanner workstation. On the device templates can be scanned and stored on a USB stick, sent by e-mail and printed.

Microfilm scanner

For re-enlarging microfiche / microfilm (e.g. dissertations) or microfilms (e.g.newspapers on roll films) a microfilm scanner is available in the reading room. For prints costs are incurred.

C-Pen Scannerbild cpen scanner

The C-Pen works similar to handling a highlighter. Connected to a laptop or a PC of the University Library via USB cable or with the smartphone via Bluetooth, the pen inserts the "marked" text passages into the currently open word processing program. Use only in the library and loan on the Information desk at the second floor.
