International students will benefit from the simplified application process on the new online portal of TU Bergakademie Freiberg from January 2022. At, they will be able to register for the master's degree programs taught in English.

There are currently 12 international master's degree programs to choose from. The online application for these will be activated from January 1, 2022.

With the new online portal, interested students will benefit from a simpler process and intuitive usability. Instead of sending them by post, applicants can upload most documents directly in digital format. " For example, this is the case for the resume or the photo," explains student consultant Maike Baudach. " Relevant certificates and a binding signature are still sent by mail to the admissions office. Additionally, the health insurance certificate is sent directly from the insurance company to the university." If an applicant's status changes, the university immediately sends an email update message via the portal.
