If you have registered through the official registration form, you will receive your conference documents in the conference office.

We all conduct research with a certain goal in mind. What is yours? We invite you to give an insight into your research and your motivation at this year’s PhD Conference, organised by the PhD council of TU Bergakademie Freiberg.

All PhD students will have the opportunity to present their research, motivation and objectives to our community. After an introduction by our keynote speaker, short presentations of 20 minutes are planned on your individual topics, followed by a 10-minute discussion.

You would rather not give a presentation? Why don’t you design a poster instead and get the chance to have an inspiring discussion about your topic in one of the poster sessions? In general, the conference language will be English, however, exceptions could be made for presentations in German.

Please register your contribution with a title and a half-page abstract. At the end of each session, there will be a final discussion of the talks with feedback for the speakers.

The PhD conference offers an ideal opportunity for practicing your presentation skills in a conference environment, as well as exchanging ideas, networking and planning of possible future collaborations with other PhD students from different fields.

Abstract deadline: 14 May 2022 (extended!)

Information required for abstract: Name, Title, Institute/University, E-mail address

Submit your abstract to: infoatprorat [dot] tu-freiberg [dot] de
