EIT RawMaterials: Event on E-waste Recycling Chain
EIT RawMaterials is pleased to announce and inform you all of an IdeaCamp jointly organized by EIT RawMaterials and RWTH Aachen addressing Innovation & Research in the E-waste Recycling Chain: Improving Circular Economy of Critical Raw Materials (CRMs), taking place on 13-14 September at the Eurogress Conference Centre in Aachen, Germany.
Objectives of this IdeaCamp are to (i) bring together key players from academia, industry and research to discuss ongoing research and activities in the WEEE recycling chain, (ii) stimulate and foster more integrated collaboration to boost innovation and (iii) initiate project ideas for the 2018 Horizon2020 and KAVA calls.
More than 25 leading experts from academia, industry and the EU policy/project perspective will be presenting cutting-edge CRM research and developments, as well as proposing novel collaborative ways forward to strengthen and boost circular economy of CRMs in electronics, across three parallel sessions:
- Logistics, Collection and Pre-Processing
- Recycling and Recovery Technologies
- CRM Compositions and Electronics Product Trends
