Acceptance for an Erasmus placement

To be accepted for a placement at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, please send us the following documents:

• Completed Application for Admission for Exchange Students form

• Confirmation of your nomination as an exchange student from your university

• Certificate of Knowledge of the German or English Language

or the form "Confirmation of German Language Proficiency for Exchange Students"

• Your training proposal or Training Agreement for your stay at TU Bergakamdie Freiberg

• Passport photo

• Transcript of Records

The minimal length of stay within of the ERASMUS placement programme is 3 months.

We will send you the Letter of Acceptance after we have received the documents.  You can apply for student visa at the German embassy with this document, in case this is necessary.  (Depending on your country, you may have to plan on longer delays).

Citizens of EU/EFTA countries do not need visa before arrival.

Application deadlines (only complete applications please!):

With visa: 4 months before the beginning of the placement

Without visa: 2 months before the beginning of the placement
