study concept

The MBA program in International Management of Resources and Environment IMRE offers a generalistic education that is economically and engineering-scientifically orientated. It is aimed to provide students with a first degree in engineering or natural sciences with skills in management, economics and law for solving general and specific problems in the field of resource management and environmental protection.

The students should acquire the ability to recognize and assess scientific, technical, economic and intellectual issues; interdisciplinary evaluate technical solutions, in particular with regard to their economic, environmental and social impacts, and to use them to develop new production processes and innovative projects. Management competences are also acquired.
Due to the general methodological knowledge aquired, students should also be able to gain a professional career in other areas of industry outside of their narrower training. This is how competences are to be developed in order to recognize future problem areas in the economy and society and to integrate them into their own work. The focus is to work
